ともに、デコンシンヌ醸造所のビールですが、良質の水を確保するのに難儀したようで、あちこちに移転して現在に至る。主に輸出用ビールを作っています。
ウルトラ　ソワフとはラベルを見てもおわかりのように、”すごくのどが渇いた”の意味です。非常にベルギービールらしいコミカルなネーミングとラベルです。
クッキービールはその名の通り、ベルギーの伝統菓子スペキュロスから来ており、スパイスを効かせた素朴なビスケットで、それと同じスパイスを使用したビールです。

Ultra Soif stands for "very thirsty". The beer is also typical Belgian designed label and naming.
Cookie Beer made from common beer contents with spice of Speculoos which is traditional Belgian cookie.

フランダースの犬にちなんだビールです。
ベルギーに行った時、フランダースの犬の最終回、ネロが切望した絵画を最後に見る事ができ、眠るように天国に行ったあの有名な教会にも行きましたが、フランダースの犬のフの字もなかったでした。
日本だったら、もう商売丸出しの観光地化されているはずです。
実はベルギーでは、このフランダースの犬という話を知る人はほとんどいないのは驚きではないでしょうか？
ベルギーでは、この原作が日本のように評価されていなかったようです。その後、日本のバラエティ番組がアニメ最終回のラストシーンをベルギーの方々に見せたところ、皆感動し、このアニメが元で銅像が建てられたそうです。

The beer is a tribute to Japanese animation programme "A dog in Flanders".
Although the TV programme is very famous in Japan, it is actually not so popular in Belgium. Almost nobody know the original story there. A bronze statue was established in Belgium after showing the last scene of animation to Belgian by Japanese broadcasting and they also impressed it.

La Binchoise Brune from Belgium

このラベルに描かれている宮崎駿さんの映画に出てきそうな風貌の男たちは、ベルギーのバンシュ（Binche）という町で行われるお祭り（ユネスコ無形文化財です）で出てくる道化師ジル(Gilles)です。
16世紀にこの地を統治していたスペインが、当時征服していたインカ帝国の服装をさせて躍らせたことが起源だそうです。
ともあれ、このビールは非常に濃厚な味であると当時の自分が記録してます。

The guys on the label are called Gilles that are clowns of local festival in Banche, Belgium. The festival has been listed by UNESCO!
The root of festival is from 16 century and Spain, which had been colonized there at that time, made the people to wear Inca dress and dance.
