Soproni from Hungary

ハンガリーの北西端、オーストリアと国境に接している都市ショプロンのビールです。2003年以降はオランダ大手ハイネケンの傘下ですが、街ではハイネケンではなく、このショプロニビールを注文すると、お店の人は笑顔で応えるそうです。

It is local beer in Sopron where locates north west of Hungary and bordered to Austria. Although it was established in 1895, it has been under the umbrella of Heineken, majour brewery of the Netherlands. Nevertheless, if you order not Heineken but Soproni there, you must be served nice beer with smile of staffs.

Dreher Classic from Hungary

これからハンガリーのビールです。建国当時（11世紀）からビール醸造の歴史があるハンガリー。当時はビール育成（sernevelés）と呼ばれ、地主や農家、修道院などを中心とした職業でした。企業規模のビール生産は、ドレーハー　アンタル氏（Dreher Antal）がドイツバイエルン型の工場をブダペストに設立することに始まります。ドレーハービールはブダペスト界隈だけでなく、国内に広がっていき、今でもハンガリー人気ナンバーワンのビールです。

Beer was already brewed when Hungary was established in 11 century. Landowners, growers and monasteries used to brew and called "sernevelés" which means brewer in Magyer language. Mr. Dreher Antal established business sized brewery in mid of 19 century and the Dreher brand was expanded to all of Hungary and it is now the most popular brand in Hungary.

Beemster Blond from The Netherlands

前回の韓国に続き、オランダの良き友から「俺の地元の村で造っているクラフトビールだ」といただいたのがベームステル　ブロンド。歴史的に新しく1996年創業ですが、当初は、何軒かのビートを保管する屋根裏の干し草置場でアマチュア醸造として開始された、とてもレアなクラフトビールです。ちなみにこのベームステル村はオランダで最初に干拓された場所としても有名で、ビールの他、チーズなどオランダならではの特産物生産で有名です。

My Dutch friend brought the craft beer which is brewed in his home town village, Beemster. It is not so historical brewery and established in 1996, but quite unique because it was first produced in the attic of a few local amateur brewers. Its brewering process has now been perfected and the beer is manufactured in De Lepelaer Brewery.

Muddied brown colour with very creamy foam and well carbonation. Smooth to drink and nice aroma which I used to enjoy Dutch beer.

Queen’s Ale from Korea

韓国のお客さんよりお土産でいただいたビールですが、はっきり言って驚いた。ラガータイプのビールばかりと思っていたら、こんな素敵なエールもあったなんて。感動です。韓国大手醸造会社Hite社によるクイーンズエールです。

Actually I was surprised at the beers because I thought talking of Korean beer, it is lager type only. On the contrary, such nice ale are also brewed in Korea!
