Mac Queen’s Nessie from Austria

そのEggenbergの別ブランドのMac Queen's Nessieです。

パワフルなアルコール度数とバリング度（ビールが発酵する前の麦汁の糖分濃度）。麦芽はスコットランドから輸入されたいわゆる赤麦芽を使用しており、まさにウィスキーの炭酸割りのような感じ。

これはほとんどウイスキーです。決して冷やさず、13℃でじっくり味わっていただきたい逸品です。

Mac Queen's Nessie is one of famous Austrian beer which made from Red Malts imported from Scotland. It is as if whiskey with soda. Powerful alcohol percentage and Baring percentage. Please don't drink in a a hurry but slow slow without chilled.

It is whisky malt red beer and strong taste was felt stronger than the description of alcohol. Less foam. Best served at 13 degrees.

Urbock 23 from Austria

いわゆるボックビール、アルコール度数は高め、琥珀色のスロードリンクタイプです。1681年醸造開始ですから欧州でも古い方です。

オーストリアは今は中欧の小国ですが、かつては大帝国であり、ビールも様々なスタイルがありました。赤麦芽を主体としたウィーンスタイルが代表的です。Schloß Eggenbergは、オーストリアを代表するブランドです。

It is Bock beer, so to speak. Relatively high alcohol percentage and amber colour beer for slow drink. Austria used to be a big empire and have many kinds of beer style. Vienna style made from red malt is one of typical Austria style beer. Schloß Eggenberg a brewery represent of this country.

欧州での多種多様なビールにはそれぞれのグラスがあります。

特にベルギーでは、個々のビールにあったビールグラスが存在しします。その香り、色、味を最大限に引き出すためです。

ビールグラスまで集めると大変なことになる（置き場所が・・・）ので、最小限の種類のビールグラスで楽しんでいます。

欧州では、ブドウが取れない国が飲む代替アルコール飲料という意見もありますが、とんでもない。ビールの世界も奥が深いです。

2009年ももうすぐ終わり。次回からは欧州に戻って、各国のビールを紹介したいと思います。

とある渋谷のお店でまだチャレンジしていないビールがいっぱいあったので、片っぱしから買って、後で気づいたのですが、なんと、パレスチナのビールです。

なかなかお目にかかることのできないレアなビールと思います。

ベルギービールに似たフルーティーな香りが印象的でした。

ベトナムは、はっきり言ってハマってしまっています。アジアなんですが、その中にヨーロピアンテイストがあり、他のアジア諸国とちょっと雰囲気が違います。

社会主義国でありながら、ドイモイ政策で市場原理を導入、年8％の成長率を誇っています。

ビールは333が日本でもよく目にしますが、私は、Saigonの方が何となく好きです。少し甘みのある味です。

現地では、生ぬるいビールが大ビールジョッキに氷の塊を入れられたものといっしょに出されますが、私はいつも生ぬるいビールを飲んでいます。そうです、氷による腹痛が恐いので・・・

Frankly speaking, I'm crazy about Vietnam. It's Asia with European taste. In spite of socialist country, it achieves average 8% economic growth per year thanks to Doi Moi policy.

Talking of Vietnamese beer, 333 is the most famous but I prefer to Saigon brand as slightly sweet after taste.

un-cooled beer is served normally with a big glass and ice but I drink the un-cooled one as I scare stomachache.
