Brugge Tripel and Brugse Tripel from Belgium

Brugge（ブルージュ）と言えば、知る人ぞ知る有名な観光スポットで、ベルギーの古都です。本当に中世がそのまま残っているという街並みです。

私の記録を見ると、BruggeとBrugseがありました。ビール会社が違いますが、おそらく、De Gauden Boom社が大手のPalm社の傘下に入ったか何かでしょうが、ボトルの王冠が同じデザインです。

Talking of Brigge Tripel, it is the first one on my blog comment which was described in 2007. It is actually my best beer so far.

Talking of Brigge, it is one of very famous sightseeing spot in Europe. Old capital of Belgium. It is actually as if I'm in time slip to the middle ages.

It is noted Brugge Tripel and Brigse Tripel in my presentation. Although the brewery company name is different, I suppose Palm, a majour Belgian brewery has acquired De Gauden Boom...

Anyway, the design of crown is the same.

It is nice brown colour, moderate carbonated and good balanced taste. It is the best as of 19th March. Best served at 8-12 C.

It is the version before required by Palm, so the design of label is difference and the brand name is not Brugge but Brugse.

Edelweiss and Snow Fresh Edelweiss from Austria

ここにエーデルワイスというビールが２つあります。ひとつはズバリ、エーデルワイスですが、もうひとつは、スノーフレッシュエーデルワイスです。味ははっきり言って同じと思いますが、ビール会社の場所が違います。5社で構成されるBrau Union Österreich AGのひとつがKaltenhausenです。オーストリアで唯一、小麦で作るビールを出しています。酸味のある通の味です。

ビール業界では著名なとあるビール評論家（なんと、氏の名前は最近お亡くなりになったアメリカのスーパースターと同じ名前です。）が執筆された本によると、オーストリアはリンツの地ビールが統合し、グループ会社Brau Union Österreichとなり、2番手にグラーツにあるSteirische Brauindustrieというグループとありますが、このビールの裏面ラベルを見ると、最大手に統合されたのでしょうか？同じ名前になっています。どうでもいいことですが。こげ茶色のビールで泡が少なく、香ばしい味と記録しています。

話は前後しますが、このオーストリア最大手のBrau Union Österreich AGは、全体的に飲みやすいビールが多いですが、このDas Stammbräuは、その飲みやすさに味のバランスの良さもあり、ボトルもしゃれています。

オーストリアのビール会社は5社から構成されるブラウAG（Brau Union Österreichグループ会社がシェアを占めていますが、既にご紹介したSchloß Eggenbergのように独立系のビール会社も健闘しています。このGriekirchner AGもそのひとつ。ウィーンの西方リンツよりさらにドイツよりの小都市にある地ビールです。白ビールとしてはすーっと飲みやすいビールです。

Canned Guinness is the one unlike bottled Guinness...

この正月休みに都内駒沢公園にあるとある喫茶店nico（www.kanshin.com/keyword/605400）に入りました。前から気になっていた場所で、とうとう入りました。

ここで、私はゆっくりビールを飲もうとGuinessをオーダー、缶と大きめのグラスが出てきました。普段は缶をそのまま口に運ぶ私ですが、この時はなぜか、そのグラスに注いでしまいました。いつもよりクリーミーな泡に変だなと思いつつ、うまいなと飲んでいました。最後のビールを注ぎ終わると、缶の中からカラカラと音がします。まるでラムネみたいに。中にピンポン玉のようなものが入っており、缶の裏を見ると、クリーミーな泡を演出するためのもの（フローティングウィジェット）であると。このウィジェット内には炭酸ガスと窒素ガスが充填されており、開封されたときにウィジェットの小さな穴からこれらのガスが放出され、クリーミーな泡を演出する細かい細工がされている。缶をよーく冷やしてから開封しないと、ウィジェット内のガス圧力が強くなりすぎ、吹き出してしまうため、缶の裏にもその注意書きがあります。

今まで缶ビールは邪道でガラスのボトルであるべきとの考えは打ち崩されました。

これを機に、ビールコレクションも缶が加わりました。

I pop in the tea room whose name is NICO where is beside of Komazawa Park in Tokyo in this new year holidays. I've already been aware of the tea room but had not gone there so far with no reason. I ordered Guinness beer and a canned beer with a big glass were served. Usually I drink beer without the served glass but I drunk with the glass this time. I noticed a small ball like table tennis in the can. It is floating widget in which 2 kinds of gasses, Carbon dioxide and Chokedamp. 2 gases are discharged from widget in order to perform creamy foam. The canned beer should be served after 3 hours chilled at least, otherwise the pressure of gases perform stronger and gushed.

Anyway, I had not collect any canned beer but has changed my mind after this.

シ、米を併用、ホップもほどほどで、その結果、味は薄く（よく言えば飲みやすく）、金色のビールです。ここに掲載している3つのブランドはオーストリアでもっとも目にするものと思います。Brau Union Österreich AGは、オーストリア最大の醸造会社で、2003年にオランダのHeinekenと合併しました。

The current Austrian beer is Bavarian style mainly, which made from corn, rise as well as wheat with moderate quantity of hops, eventually pale but smooth to drink type and golden colour. The following 3 brands may be themost well-known in Austria. Brau Union Österreich AG is the biggest brewery in this country and merged with Heineken from The NL in 2003.
