基本的に週末しかアルコールは飲みませんが、その分、ちゃんとしたビールを飲もうとサントリーさんのプレミアムモルツを愛飲しています。
せっせと缶についているシールをためて応募した（誰でも当たる）初仕込（4本入り）が先週届きました。
体調崩したので今回初飲み。麦芽の香りがしっかりしている（ような）気がします。
非売品です。

Leikeim Premium Weisse from Germany

ヘフェ・ヴァイツェンはドイツ語で酵母入り白ビールの意。濾過していないので濁っており、歴史的な醸造スタイルのビールです。ところで、1887年にヨハン・ライカイムによって設立されたライカイム醸造所は他にもシュタインビールがあります。中世ではまだ金属釜はメジャーではなく、木製の釜でした。当然、火を使えないので、焼けた石を釜の中に入れて醸造したため、シュタイン（石）ビールと言います。今もこの製法のビールを造っています。何かの機会に飲んでみたいビールです。

Hefe Weizen means non-filtered white beer, therefore it is muddied light brown colour beer. It is old style brewing method. By the way, talking of Leikeim Brewery, which was established by Johann Leikeim in 1887, has another kind beer, which is called Steinbier, it means Stone Beer in English and also old style brewing method. Metal iron pot was not so common in medieval times in Europe, therefore beer used to be brewed by wooden one. Needless to say, it could not be used fire, therefore hot stones were in the pot for brewing. Leikeim Brewery brews Steinbier by the historical method until now. I would like to try the beer one day.

Rothenburger Landwehr Bier Dunkels from Germany

2013年最後の紹介はローテンブルガー　ランドウェールです。
小6の時に祖父母の旅行のかばん持ちで連れて行っていただいた初めての海外旅行で寄った街がローテンブルクですが、広場や家々の窓辺を花できれいに飾られたこの街を見て、後に私が花関係の仕事に就くことを決めた運命的な街の地ビールです。
どうでもいい話ですが・・・。

It is local brewery in Rothenbrug , Germany which also put hotel and restaurant side by side. Rothenburg is called medieval jewel box and decorated flowers in balconies here and there and open spaces in the town. I was impressed a lot when I visited there when I was 13 years old, then decided to engage in the flower industry, anyway...
