当時はこんなアルコール度数（1.7％）でビールと言っていいのだろうか？と思ったが、今で言うノンアルコールの走りと思う。
欧州の人たちは、朝や昼に飲むための軽めのビールにしたんだと思う。


Although I thought such beer should not be categorized in beer at that time, it may be pioneer of non-alcohol beer which is getting popular year by year in Japan.
I suppose Danish drink it in the breakfast and /or lunch time.

Porse Guld and Porse Guld Ekstra from Denmark

今ではビールと言えば、麦芽、ホップと酵母、そして水で造られるのは周知の通りですが、400～500年以上前は、その土地土地のハーブや海藻類を使ってビールを醸造していました。（これについては、詳しくは後に紹介予定のイギリスの項で記述いたします。）このPorse Guldはホップの代わりにヤチヤナギ（北西ヨーロッパの沼沢地に生える低木の一種で、苦い味がする芳香性の葉をもつ）を使用したビールです。このヤチヤナギは紀元前600年ごろからゲルマン人がビールを作り始めたのですが、これを風味づけに使っていたそうです。
ビールの名前になっているPorseとはデンマーク語でヤチヤナギと言う意です。苦みの効いた味かと思いきや、すっきりした味と当時の自分が記録しています。


Talking of beer, it is brewed from malts, hops and water with yeast, however, especially in north-western Europe, such as Germany, Belgium and Great Britain, it was much used in a mixture called gruit as a flavouring for beer from the Middle Ages to the 16th century, but it fell into disuse after hops become widely available. In modern times, some brewers have revisited this histric technique. The beer, Porse Guld, is brewed from Myrica gale, which is bog shrub of north temperate zone having bitter-rtasting fragrant leaves, called Porse in Danish, instead of hops. It is only beer in Denmark.

Fine Festival from Denmark

デンマークビールなのに、なぜ英語表記なんでしょう？元々、このビールは1953年のエリザベス2世の戴冠式を祝福するためにイギリス向けに作られたビールです。デンマーク本国には2年後の1955年から販売されました。


Tuborg Fine Festival has an English name because it was originally produced for the English market to celebrate Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953. It was introduced to Denmark in 1955 where it lives a quiet, but distinguished life as a luxury beer for connoisseurs.

鮭ビールと言う名のビール。別に魚臭いわけではなく、何の変哲もないピルスナーだが、なぜ鮭か不明。


Laks means Salmon in Danish. I'm not sure why it is named Salmon Beer...Anyway, it is quite common pilsner beer taste. not so special.

直訳すると”イチゴ醸造の”になるベルギーのランビックやフランボワーズと同じタイプの果実表面に付着した菌による自然発酵のビールです。


Jordbærbryg means "Strawberry brewed". It is Lambic or Franboise type beer.

Fregatten Julland from Denmark

世界最大の木造軍艦フレガッテンを賛辞するため1994年より醸造されたビールです。このフレガッテンは今もデンマークのユトランド半島東岸の小さな港町に停留され、観光地になっています。


Fregatten is the world largest wodden battleship built in 1860 in Ebeltoft, in east mid Jutland, Denmark. The beer, Fregatten Julland was introduced 1994 to honor for Fregatten Jutland, and should smell and taste of steel ropes and tar.
