Kilkenny from Ireland

1965年からギネスの傘下となっているキルケニーは1710年創業という実はギネスより古いビール（エール）です。
キルケニーにある聖フランシス修道院で醸造されたのを起源とするスミスヴィックというブランドがありますが、1980~1990年代に欧米に輸出する際、発音が難しいというマーケティングの理由より、町の名前を冠したキルケニーという名前で販売されています。
