The Royal Bitter from Japan

コンビニ限定ビールが出回っているので、近所のコンビニに立ち寄りビールをいくつかあさってみました。
往々にして限定醸造に弱い私ですが、愛飲するプレモルのメーカーのビールとして期待するも、やっぱりプレモルの方が上かな？
苦みはありますが、IPAほどではなく、でも、麦芽の香りはしっかりしていました。まあまあかな。

Zaragozana from Spain

バルセロナとマドリッドのほぼ中間にあるサラゴザのビールです。1900年創業で当時のビール愛好家がドイツのビールマイスターと醸造所を立ち上げ、ビールづくりを始めたのが起源です。

La Zaragozana S.A. was established by a Spanish beer lover and German brewer in 1900. Amber type beer mainly but smooth to drink.

Legado de Yuste from Spain

スペイン初の修道院（アビイ）ビールです。
500年ほど前に時の皇帝チャールズ5世がユステに引退後、大麦を材料にフランダースの伝統的手法で造ったビールが始まりとされています。ビールの名前はまさに”ユステの遺産"です。

The first Spanish abbey beer, which made with malted barley in the region according to the tradition of the master brewers of Flanders, which Charles V brought in his retirement to Yuste nearly 500 years ago. That's why it is Legado de Yuste (Legacy of Yuste).

Damm from Spain

スペインのビールの歴史は16世紀に遡ります。時の皇帝、フランダース地方ゲント出身のチャールズ5世が無類のビール好きで、彼の指導の下、スペインに初の商業ベースの醸造所が出来ました。現在、スペインにあるほとんどのビール会社は世界メジャーの傘下にありますが、このダム醸造所はその中で唯一独立した醸造所として今もすばらしいビールを造っています。
エストレージャ　ダムのエストレージャとは星を意味し、FCバルセロナのスポンサーでもあるダム醸造所の代表的なブランドです。
A.K.ダムは創設者（August Kuentzmann Damm）を賛辞、彼の出身であるアルザス地方の醸造手法を用いて造った復刻版ビールです。
エストレージャ　ダム　イネディットは高級版で、スペインの知る人ぞ知る料理人フェラン・アドリア氏によるものです。

The sixteenth century emperor of Spain, Charles V, came from Ghent in Flanders and was a great beer lover. Under his guidance, Germans and Flemings in his court built the first commercial brewery in Spain.
Although many of Spanish breweries are now under the world wide majour breweries, the majour independent is Damm of Barcelona. 
Estrella means Star in English and Estrella Damm is the benchmark of this brewery's assortment.
A.K. Damm is the beer that recover the legacy of Original Alsacian method that the founder of Damm, Mr. August Kuentzmann Damm, brought from his country, Alsace. 
Estrella Damm Inedit is the high status brand which is managed by Mr. Ferran Adria i Acosta who is the famous person and top of European Restaurant Ranking.

Zlatý Bažant from Slovakia Republic

金色のキジという名前のズラティ　バジャントはスロバキアのビールです。チェコに行った際に買いあさったビールの中に紛れ込んでいたもので、実は隣のスロバキアのものでした。スロバキアは通過するだけでもビザが必要な国（当時）でしたので、ある意味ゲットしてラッキーでした。
チェコのビールに似て、きれいな金色のビールでホップの効いた、しかも後口にほのかな甘みを感じさせるすばらしいビールでした。

Zlatý Bažant means Golden Pheasant in Slovak and one of majour brand in Slovakia Republic. I got it when I went to Czech Republic by chance. In a way, I was lucky because visa is required in this country even if transit.

Балтика (Baltica) from Russia Federation

ロシアのアルコールと言えばウォッカなのですが、実は世界第4位のビール消費国です（2012年）。ソ連崩壊後、ビールの需要が急増、それまで食品扱いであったビールは酒類扱いとなりました。ところで、このバルティカは1990年と新しい醸造所ですが、かつてのレニングラード、今のサンクトペテルスブルグにあるロシアを代表するビールブランドです。番号でビールのスタイルが違っており、ここに掲載しているのはNo.3（クラシックラガー）、No.6（ポーター）、No.8（ホワイトビール）ですが、他にもNo.4、No.7、No.9とあり、機会があれば是非チャレンジしてみたいです。

Talking of Russian alcohol, it is Vodka, however are you aware that Russia Federation is Top 4 of beer consumption? Baltica is one of the famous beer brand from St. Petersburg and there are some kinds of beer style such as No.3 (Classic), No.6 (Porter) and No.8 (Wheat Beer) that I tried. What is more, there are No.4, No.7 and No.9 that I haven't tried yet and one day I want to drink them.

Super Bock from Portugal

そして、先述のサグレスと互角のシェアを有しているのが、このスーパーボックです。ボックという名前にも関わらず、ラガータイプですっきり飲みやすいタイプです。

Super Bock has the share equal with Sagres in Portugal. In spite of the name "Super Bock", it is not Bock style but Rager type and smooth to drink.

Sagres is the majour brand of Sociedade Central de Cervejas which is the biggest brewery in Portugal. It is named from the most beautiful sailboat, Sagres.

Żywiec from Poland

シュビエツビールは1856年にハプスブルグ家によって設立された醸造所です。
シュビエツビールのラベルに若い男女が踊っている絵が描かれています。ポーランドの民族衣装に身をくるんだクラクフの伝統的な踊り、クラコビアです。ボトルの裏側のラベルには飲むに適した温度になると、トレードマークが浮かび上がる仕掛け付きのビールです。

　Brewery was established by Archduke Friedrich Habsburg in 1856 in the heart of Zywiec Valley, whose brewing traditions date back to the Middle Ages. 
　The Żywiec logo includes all of the most important historical symbols of the brewery and Poland itself. Żywiec Beer’s prominent front label displays a man and woman, who dance the　Krakowiak, a traditional dance of the area of Kraków in Poland. This dancing couple is dressed in classic Polish folk dancing clothes.

Tyskie 375 from Poland

ポーランドで18％のマーケットシェアを持つティスキエビールはポーランドの南部にあるティヒ市のビールです。今では工業都市となったティヒ市はとりわけビール醸造で有名な町で、その歴史は17世紀まで遡ります。創業当初のティスキエ醸造所は当時の貴族プロムニッツ家と繫がりがあり、一時は1000万リットル（19世紀後半）のビールを醸造する世界一の規模でした。工場にはティスキエ博物館があり、醸造技術の発展過程を見ることができるそうです。
このティスキエ375は2004年に創業375周年を記念してポーランド醸造博物館にできたティスキエビールの醸造所で造られたビールです。深い金色のバランスの取れた味でしかも飲みやすい良いビールです。

Tyskie Beer loved by Polish has 18% market share now but it used to be the biggest brewery which brewed beer more than 10 million liter in the end of 19 century. Although the brewery is under the umbrella of Piwowarska (SAB Miller Group) was located in Tychy where is the famous of beer brewing in the past.
Tyskie 375 was brewed in 2004 as 375th anniversary at a brewery facility of Tyskie Brewery in Poland Brewery Museum.
