Dulleteve 10 from Belgium

自分のコメントに最初、甘みと酸味があって、その後に苦みが来ると記録していますが、やっぱりね。このビール、醸造過程でキャンディー入れてます。


Dulle Teve means Mad Bitch, but the US government does not like the name, therefore it is called Tripel. It is an all malt brew with white candy in the kettle and re-fermented.

It is muddy light brown colour beer with rich and creamy foam. At first, it is sweet and acidity taste then after taste is bitter.

Oer Bier and Oeral Bier from Belgium

歴史あるベルギービール群の中で、これは新しい醸造所(1980年設立)のビールです。”ふざけたデザイン”とも”コミカルなデザイン”とも表現できるそのラベルからは想像できないくらい、味の方はしっかりしていました。
このOerbierとはオリジナルという意で、当時学生だった兄弟が5ガロン(=約19L)の銅製のケトルで醸造したのが始まりです。その後、古い醸造所を引き継ぎ、かたくなに小規模生産にこだわっている地ビール醸造所です。この醸造所のこだわりは品質管理にもみられ、8℃に一定に管理されたセラーで管理されています。

Oerbier means Original from the source. It has been brewed in small scale (5 gallons) at home in a copper wash kettle by brothers who were students at the time. They took over an old brewery which was out of business. It was also a unique opportunity to create some interesting brews and they kept the scale of the brewery as it was.
Oerbier is brewed from all different malts, Poperinge Golden hops in flowers and special yeast which makes it a little tart, especially with aging. At the brewery they have excellent cellars which have a constant temperature of 8C allowing Oerbier to age at its best.

St. Benoit Blonde from Belgium

聖ベネディクト(480-547)は、ベネディクト修道院秩序の創始者で、この秩序は修道院内で労働作業、知的作業の元となっていました。数世紀を経て、ベネディクト修道院の修道僧たちは小麦、ホップ、大麦でリッチで濃厚なビール醸造に勤しみました。このビールはBOCQ醸造所が当時の修道院ビールを再現するために作り上げたものです。

Saint Benedict (Saint-Benoit) (480-547) is the founder of the Benedictine order. This order has always maintained a commitment to manual and intellectual work within the monasteries. Over the centuries, the Benedictine Monks took advantage of the wheat, hops and barley harvests to brew rich and dense beers within their farms. The Brasserie du BOCQ drew its inspiration from them to create an abbey beer in memory of Saint Benedict.

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Belgium

フランダースのレッドビールです。発酵後、オーク樽で18カ月もの間熟成させ、そして8カ月熟成の物とブレンドしたビールです。よって、コメントにあるように、黒っぽいビールで、フルーティーな香りのするビールに仕上がります。
このビール名は1457に生まれ、落馬事故で亡くなったチャールズの唯一の娘を称えて、ブルゴーニュのメアリーと付けられました。



It is a Flanders Red Ale style beer. After primary and secondary fermentation, this ale is matured in oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger 8 months old beer with an 18 months old beer. The name of the beer is meant to honour Mary of Burgundy, the sole daughter of Charles the Bold, born in Brussels in 1457, who died young in a horse riding accident.

Het Kapittel Watou from Belgium

1642年から地元の領主の醸造所として設立されました。1840年代よりヴァン・エーケ一族の所有となっています。
このヘット・カピテルは、フランスとの国境向こうに位置するモン・デ・カ修道院によって供給されたレシピが基本となっていると言われています。

It was established as brewery of local lord in 1642 then it has been owned by van Eecke family since 1840's. The brewery locates in Watou where is near the border to France. The recipe is based on the one of abbaye du Mont des Cats.

Suntory Beer Brewery

The Premium Malt's
府中にあるサントリービール武蔵野工場に行きました。
ザ・プレミアム・モルツの誕生秘話、相性のよいおつまみ、おいしい注ぎ方、業務用主体で、缶では限定販売のザ・プレミアム・モルツ<黒>も堪能できました。
なんと、ザ・プレミアム・モルツの誕生は1989年との事。世界一のビールを目指して研究開発され、モンドセレクションで3年連続受賞という快挙。
相性のよいおつまみでは、5種類出されましたが、ドライフルーツとの相性は新たな発見。
ザ・プレミアム・モルツ<黒>は以前限定販売の350ml缶をゲット、試したことがありますが、やはり工場での鮮度にはかないません。香りが違います。
工場見学の説明もわかりやすく、なかなかいい内容のコースでした。

I went to Suntory Brewery in Fuchu, Tokyo on 4th Dec. 2010.
The content of tour was a presentation of The Premium Malt's development story, how to serve beer, tasting of The Premium Malt's and The Premium Malt's Black etc.
The Premium Malt's Black
I did not know the beer was launched in 1989 and developed in order to be No.1 Pils Beer in the world. Eventually it was awarded The Grand Prix of Monde Selection in 2005, 2006 and 2007!
5 kinds of snack were served as "beer friend" and it was new for me that dried fruit is good combination to beer.
Although I've tried The Premium Malt's Black as canned beer once, the beer at facility was actually nice because of freshness and the flavour.
It was actually good tour.
