スウェーデンのクラフトビールです。炭酸も泡もほとんど無い深みのある赤琥珀色のバーレイワイン（大麦ビール）です。深くてしっかりした味のこのビールは、ゆっくりと飲むべきです。購入後即開栓してもよし、1年毎に開けて熟成の味を楽しむもよし。
あー、何本も買っておけばよかった。

Mariestads from Sweden

繰り返しになりますが、ノルウェー同様、スウェーデンでもアルコールは国が管理しています。それはアルコール中毒者の増加が社会問題となり、ある一定以上のアルコール度数のお酒は全て国営酒場で販売されるようになったためです。しかも土曜日は15時まで、日曜日は閉まっています。
なぜ、アルコール中毒者が増えたのでしょうか？
こんな逸話はいかがでしょうか？
1463年のストックホルム市庁舎で開催された公式晩さん会では、一人当たり約15Lのビールがふるまわれたそうです。なぜにそんな大量のビールがふるまわれたのか？スウェーデンの塩分のきつい食事と、鮮度の悪い食材にありました。当時はお茶、コーヒーはなく、牛乳も夏季しか入手できなかった中、水は飲み水に適さず、安心して飲める形が発酵飲料のビールでした。そんな背景もあったのではないでしょうか？
そんな中での今回のマリエスタッドは2種類紹介。普通のスーパーマーケットで購入できるスペシャル（アルコール度数3.5％）と国営酒場でしか購入できないエクストラスターク（7.2％）です。

Again, Likewise Norway, all kinds of alcohol is controlled and managed by Swedish government. It is because the increasing of alcoholic persons became social problem, thus alcohol beyond of regulation are sold at the state-operated shops which close at 15 o'clock on Saturday and completely closed on Sunday. :-(
Why such regulation is started? How about such anecdote?
No less than 15 liters of beer was served at the formal dinner party of Stockholm Town Hall in 1463. It was because of Swedish traditional salty meals and not so fresh food. Not existence of tea and/or coffee and the water is not suitable for drink at that time. Therefore the drink which can be drunk in safely was fermented one such as beer. That's why???
Anyway, 2 kinds of Mariestads are introduced. The one is Mariestads Special which is 3.5% alcohol that can be purchased at common super markets. The other one is Mariestads Extra Stark which is 7.2% alcohol that can be purchased at government shops only.

Ysta Färsköl from Sweden

スウェーデン南部（スコーネ地方）の地方都市ユースタードのビールです。
コペンハーゲンに住んでいた時、海峡大橋オーレスンリンクを渡って日帰りで行かれるくらいの距離で、静かなのんびりした街であったことを記憶します。
スウェーデンはノルウェーと同じく、アルコール類は国が管理。一般のスーパーマーケットでは3.5％までのアルコール度数のビールしか購入できません。

Local beer from Ystad, Skåne area, south of Sweden. Likewise Norway, all kinds of alcohol drink is controlled and managed by Swedish government. The retail price and alcohol percentage are different and determined depends on place. The beer which can be purchased at supermarket must be less than 3.5% alcohol.

Alcohol % of all of beer sold in shops has to be within 3.5% due to the Swedish law. This tastes sour and muddy yellow colour. In short, white beer. Local beer in Ystad.

Norrland Guld from Sweden

It is known for its long-running and campaign which feature a stereotyped view of Norrland. The principal character is Ingemar, a very laid back man who lives a simple life with his buddies.

The central message is that people from Norrland (who naturally drink Norrlands Guld) are generally more laid back and free from pretension. The Catchphrase "Varför inte vara dig själv för en stund?" (Why not be yourself for a moment?) reflects this.

Norrlands Guld is also sold outside of Sweden throughout the IKEA retail chain.

Alhambra from Spain

イタリア、フランス同様にワインのイメージが強いスペインですが、ビールも予想以上のブランドがあり、非常に楽しい国です。
このアルハンブラはスペイン南部ムルシアのビールです。アルハンブラ エスペシャルは「特別のアルハンブラ」、アルハンブラ レゼルバ1925は「とっておきのアルハンブラ」。私の記録では後者の方に軍配です。
ちなみに、私はアルハンブラ レゼルバ1925のボトルが気に入り、空き瓶をちょっとした花を飾る花瓶として今もキープしています。

Talking of Spain, many of people associate wine same with France and Italy, however there are many brand of beer as well in Spain!
Alhambra is brand from Murcia, south of Spain. Both of "Alhambra Especial" and "Alhambra Reserva 1925" are exceptional name. If any thing, I prefer the latter one to the former one.
By the way, The empty bottle of Alhambra Reserva 1925 is kept for flower vase as very nice design.

Eki from Basque country (France/Spain)

スペインでゲットしたビールですが、実はフランスのものでした。フランスはフランスでもバスク地方のものです。
Ekiとはバスク語で太陽の意。よって、ラベルにも黄金の太陽が描かれています。

Mezquita from Spain

スペイン南部コルドバのビールです。マホガニー色のラガービールです。メスキータとはスペイン語でモスク（ムスリムの礼拝堂）という意。かつて13世紀以前のスペインはイスラム化しており、いかにもという名前のビールです。メスキータとは一般的にコルドバの聖マリア大聖堂を指す場合が多く、これが建設された場所は紀元前2世紀に戦勝祈願を行ったローマ神殿があったという伝説があり、西ゴート王国時代には聖ヴィアンテ協会があった神聖な場所。いかにもコルドバのビールという名前です。

Mezquita means Mosque in Spanish. Talking of Mezquita in Cordoba, it stands for Catedral de Santa maria de Cordoba and it is legend that the place where the cathedral established was at Roman style templea shrinea sanctuary in B.C. 2 century.  Anyway, it is just the name of beer from Cordoba!

スペイン南部セビリアにある寺院クルス・デル・カンポ（十字架の丘）にちなんで命名されたビールです。2本セットで売られていました。

It is named from Cruz del Campo which is the temple in Selilla. Small sized bottle and sold with 2 bottles.

I went to a restaurant which serve The Perfect Yebisu beer in Yokohama. The Perfect Yebisu beer is served at the restricted restaurants. According to the owner, spot checking by the person in charge and if below standard beer is served, the plate of The Perfect Yebisu is taken away!

The Perfect Yebisu is served at "the perfect temperature" with "the perfect creamy foam" by "the perfect glass".

VERY nice!
