Mariestads from Sweden

繰り返しになりますが、ノルウェー同様、スウェーデンでもアルコールは国が管理しています。それはアルコール中毒者の増加が社会問題となり、ある一定以上のアルコール度数のお酒は全て国営酒場で販売されるようになったためです。しかも土曜日は15時まで、日曜日は閉まっています。
なぜ、アルコール中毒者が増えたのでしょうか？
こんな逸話はいかがでしょうか？
1463年のストックホルム市庁舎で開催された公式晩さん会では、一人当たり約15Lのビールがふるまわれたそうです。なぜにそんな大量のビールがふるまわれたのか？スウェーデンの塩分のきつい食事と、鮮度の悪い食材にありました。当時はお茶、コーヒーはなく、牛乳も夏季しか入手できなかった中、水は飲み水に適さず、安心して飲める形が発酵飲料のビールでした。そんな背景もあったのではないでしょうか？
そんな中での今回のマリエスタッドは2種類紹介。普通のスーパーマーケットで購入できるスペシャル（アルコール度数3.5％）と国営酒場でしか購入できないエクストラスターク（7.2％）です。

Again, Likewise Norway, all kinds of alcohol is controlled and managed by Swedish government. It is because the increasing of alcoholic persons became social problem, thus alcohol beyond of regulation are sold at the state-operated shops which close at 15 o'clock on Saturday and completely closed on Sunday. :-(
Why such regulation is started? How about such anecdote?
No less than 15 liters of beer was served at the formal dinner party of Stockholm Town Hall in 1463. It was because of Swedish traditional salty meals and not so fresh food. Not existence of tea and/or coffee and the water is not suitable for drink at that time. Therefore the drink which can be drunk in safely was fermented one such as beer. That's why???
Anyway, 2 kinds of Mariestads are introduced. The one is Mariestads Special which is 3.5% alcohol that can be purchased at common super markets. The other one is Mariestads Extra Stark which is 7.2% alcohol that can be purchased at government shops only.
