軽く飲むつもりがあれこれトライしてしまいました。

僕ビール、君ビール。
セゾンスタイルでホップ由来の柑橘系の香りと酵母由来のエステル系の香りがすばらしいです。

よなよなリアルエール
醸造所のタンクからそのままサーブされたようなエール独特の香りで、店頭で販売されるよなよなエールでは味わえないリアルエール。

軽井沢高原ビール Seasonal Wheat Ale 2015
小麦麦芽の白ビールタイプ。メニューで頼んだソーセージと焼きバーニャカウダと相性ピッタリでした。


インドの青鬼
IPAで以前もどこかで飲みましたが、日本製のビール（IPA）としてはガツンとしていたので気に入っていました。大量に使用したアメリカンホップのためだと思います。日本の醸造所が造ったすばらしいIPAと思います。

東京ブラックリアルエール
最後に締めたのがこれです。圧倒的なロースト感、コーヒーを思わせるコクと深み。無濾過でサーブされるため、店頭で販売される缶タイプと違い、最高の黒ビールです。

行ってよかったです。

Holy Grail from UK

モンティ　パイソンの映画「ホーリー　グレイル（聖杯）」のGRにバッテンをして「ホーリーエール（聖なるエール）」（スペルは違いますが）にもじったユーモアある名前のビールです。

ここからイギリスです。イギリスといえばエールなのですが、ビールにハマったとはいえ、当時（2004～2006）の私はどうもエールというものを理解できなかったようで、今見るとコメントがめちゃくちゃでネガティブなものもあります。今飲むと絶対違うコメント（絶賛コメント）と思います。当時、イギリス出張の度に空港への帰路、スーパーマーケットに寄って意地になって買い込んでいたことを思い出します。
イギリスの現地スタッフからは、エールは室温で飲むものと教えられ試すも理解できず、冷やして飲むべしとコメントしていますが、今見ると滑稽です。エール（ビール）にはそれぞれ適温というものがありますね。

Talking of UK, it is ale (not beer). however, I could not understand and accept ale fllavour and taste at that time (2004-2006), therefore my comments are wrong, strange or negative for British style ale. If I try them again, I would describe another taste comments! I used to pop in super market for buying ales on the way to flight back to The NL/Denmark on my business trip to UK.
Anyway, it is quite funny because I was advised that ale should be drunken at room temperature then I tried but I could not accept. Thus I described "It should be served chilled.":-0

History of Ale

Ale is the general term given to most fermented drinks made from any botanical resource. Fermented drinks have been made in Scotland since the Dark ages. At an archaeological site on the Isle of Rhum, Neolithic remains dating from before 2000 B.C. have been identified as the earliest heather ale. The first ales were produced by the spontaneous fermentation of natural fruit, honey and cereals. Over the centuries these flavours were refined using local indigenous herbs, fruits and flowers. The range of flavours is infinite; indeed probably every botanical ingredient was tried at some stage to flavour ale.

Hops were not grown commercially in Britain until the 18th Century during which “BEER” (hopped ales) represented less than one tenth of the consumption of ale. As taverns and commercial breweries developed, Acts of Parliament began to standardise ale to beer, brewers were required to use only malt, hops, water and yeast. It was said that this was to eliminate the use of narcotic, stimulant and toxic plants but it also raised taxes from malt and generated income for the House of Lords who owned the hop farms.

オレンジブームはドイツのビールとなっていますが、実はもともとオランダのビールで、私がオランダ駐在の頃、ボトルのケース売りで安く買えた日常飲むためのビールでした。その当時（2003年12月以前）は、まだビールにハマっていなかったので、画像から何から何も記録しておらず、画像は息子が集めていた王冠のみ。その後、小売りから撤退し業務用に集約と聞き、”再会”できることなく、残念極まる思いで帰国。数年経過してKardiさんで缶のオレンジブームが売られているのでゲットしました。

It is my regret as not record anything. I used to drink it before starting beer collection. Oranjeboom had sold bottle one for consumers but no longer selling and concentrate to business use only. My son has kept the crown as attached.

I came across the lucky as Canned Oranjeboom was sold at a super market in Japan!! Slightly darker brown coloured beer and the taste is also slightly strong.

DOCQ Pilsener from The Netherlands

オランダだけではないと思いますが、醸造所によっては小売り用のボトル/缶仕様を扱わず、業務用のみのところもあります。

このDOCQピルスナーはそのひとつで、帰国後、改めてオランダ出張の際に現地スタッフが連れて行ってくれたレストランで供されたビールです。

何の変哲もないフツーのピルスナーでしたが、「こんなブランド知らなかっただろ」と教えていただきました（Webをチェックしましたがオランダ語表記のみでさっぱりわかりません）。

Hitachino Brewing Lab.

日本のクラフトビールさきがけである常陸野ビール（木内酒造）のラボが東京神田のマーチエキュート神田万世橋（旧万世橋駅）にあり、立ち寄ってみました。
ニッポニアと賀正ビールをオーダーし、入り口横には小さな醸造タンクが。
お店の方に聞いてみると、単なる飾りではなく、稼働しているとのこと。
オリジナルのビールを造る（120L)ことができ、イベントや結婚式の引き出物等に引き合いがあるとのこと。
なるほど、だからラボなのか。
賀正ビールはアルコール度数8％で5種類のスパイスとコリアンダーの香りが利いたすばらしいエール（ベルジャンストロングエールタイプ）でした。

Hitachino Brewing Lab. locates at mAAch ecute Kanda Manseibashi in Tokyo. Even if small beer pub, it is actually showy concept. Brewery tanks are installed beside of counter and original beer can be brewed with staff's instruction. The minimum lot is 120 litter therefore not for hobby use but the facility is utilized for something event or presents at a wedding reception etc.

これらはかなりレアなビールと思います。
オランダ駐在時、私がビールにハマったのを知ったオランダ人の師匠が「ついてこい」と片田舎のオーガニックショップに連れて行かれ、紹介いただいたものです。
その当時、ビールの種類もわからずに見知らぬラベルを見ては買い漁っていた私はエキサイトしてあれこれゲットしましたが、個々の味を理解できず、わけのわからないコメントをしております。
改めて個々のビールの名前を見て、再チャレンジしたら絶対当時と違うコメントを残すだろうなと思いながらアップいたします。

I think these beers must be rare ones.
When I was in The Netherlands, my respect Dutch guy took me to a local organic shop as he knows I'm crazy about beer.
I was not familiar with beer so much at that time and I used to get beers when I found out unknown beer brands, therefore my comments at that time was not so accurate.
If I can challenge to drink these beers again, I would must describe another and accurate comments...

ベルギー国境に近いオランダは美食の街といわれるマーストリヒトのビールですが、特にBrut（ドライという意味）のコメントは「本当にこれはビールか？」と散々です。
白ビールを基本とする醸造所のようですが、まだ当時、白ビールの味を理解していなかった時かもしれません。

Wieckse comes from the same Saxon root as the English "wick" and means a settlement. Although it is from Maarstricht where is close to Belgium, my comment was severe.
Probably I had not understand the taste of white beer, yet at that time...
