Warka from Poland

ポーランドはロシア同様、ウォッカの国でビールはおそらくお酒の部類として見ていないのではないかと思います（個人的に）。ポーランドのパブではビールは単体で出されることはあまりないそうで、ジュースと一緒に出されるそうです。よって、ポーランドでは「ビールとシロップ」と言って、そのカクテルをストローで飲みます。ドイツのベルリンでのベルリナーヴァイセと似た雰囲気です。
さて、このポーランドのヴァルカはしっかりした味のビールで、欧州駐在当時、ポーランドのグループ会社のスタッフが私のビール好きを知って、ポーランドのビールだとお土産で持ってきてくれた中の最高のビールです。

Talking of Poland, it is vodka same with Russia. Beer is not served itself but served with juice and drinking it by straw as "Beer and syrup (Piwo z sokiem in Polish)". It is similar to Berliner Weise in Berlin, Germany. 
By the way, Warka is full body taste and my most favorite Polish beer. My co-worker in Poland gave me as gift because he knows that I'm crazy about beer.

Nøgne Ø Amber Ale from Norway

ノルウェーではスーパーマーケットでしか入手しなかったので、アルコール度数の低いもの、そしてピルスナーばかりでつまらんなと思っていたら、こんなビールもありました。
日本語で表現するには難しい発音ですが、あえて書くとしたら、ヌグネ・エウ。ノルウェー語で直訳すると裸島ですが、荒涼とした島と訳した方が正しいと思います。
実は、デンマークのコペンハーゲンにあるとある輸入ビール専門店でゲットしたものですが、ノルウェービールにもこんなものがあるのか、何だこれっ！て位感動した記憶があります。
アンバーエールですので上面発酵タイプと思いますが、ベルギービールを思わせる素晴らしいビールでした。
また、ここは欧州で初めて日本酒を造った醸造所としても有名で、YAMAHAI SAKE（山廃酒）と本格的です。

The name Nøgne Ø means "naked island", a poetic term used by Henrik Ibsen to describe any of the countless stark, barren outcroppings that are visible in the rough sea off Norway's southern coast.　The name also gives a symbolic picture of what the two Norwegian home brewers did early 2002, when they decided to found a new brewery. Their urge to share their passion of good beer was unbearable. Their vision was to bring diversity and innovation into commercial brewing of real ale. The result – Nøgne Ø.

Frydenlund Pilsener from Norway

フルデンランド醸造所はオスロにあった醸造所ですが、同じオスロにあるライバル会社のリングネス醸造所に吸収されましたが、オリジナルの酵母はきちんと引き継がれ、今も、フルデンランドのブランド名が踏襲されています。

It is brewed by Ringnes Bryggeri, which took over and closed in the past. Frydenlund's yeast was allegedly preserved.

Ringnes Pilsener from Norway

リングネス醸造所は、リングネスの兄弟によって設立された140年近い歴史をもつ老舗です。

カールスバーグのエミール・クリスチャン・ハンゼンによる酵母純粋培養法確立（1833年）は有名な話ですが、リングネスは世界で2番目にオリジナル酵母菌の純粋培養に成功した醸造所と言われています。

また、リングネス兄弟は北極探検のサポートも積極的で、極地探検船建造にも貢献、そのため、グリーンランドにある島に自身の名前を命名した島もあるほどです。

2000年にデンマークのカールスバーグの傘下となり、ノルウェー人は相当悔しがりましたが、ブランドネームは残り、今も人気の高いビールです。

Ringnes Bryggeri was established by Ringnes Bros. in 1877. Pure culture of yeast by Emil Christian Hansen in 1833 is very famous topic on beer history and the Ringnes Bryggeri might have succeeded of the pure culture secondly in the world.

The Bros. also supported to build a expedition ship for Arctic expedition. Therefore, there are islands which is named their name near Green Land due to their contribution.

The brewery was under the umbrella of Carsberg, Danish majour brewery company and Norwegians were quite regret but the brand name is continued and still very popular brand in Norway.

後にご紹介する予定のスウェーデンも同じですが、ノルウェーでは国がアルコールに対して管理しており、アルコールを嗜む場所、購入できる場所によって価格帯やアルコール度数が異なります。
一般にスーパーマーケットで購入できるのはアルコール度数4.75％以下と規定されており、それ以上のものは、国営酒屋か飲食店のみです。
アース醸造所はノルウェーで最大最古の醸造所で、一番多く目にするブランドです。
これまでご紹介したノルウェーのビール全て、ご覧の通り、現地スーパーで購入したものですので、アルコール度数は低め（4.75％以下）のものばかりです。

All kinds of alcohol drink is controlled and managed by Norwegian government same with Sweden. The retail price and alcohol percentage are different and determined depends on place.
The beer which can be purchased at supermarket must be less than 4.75% alcohol. If you require the further stronger beer to buy or drink, you should go to government-managed shops or pubs/restaurants.
Anyway, the Aass is the oldest and biggest brewery in Norway and easy to find out the brand here and there in Norway.

Seidel Pilsner from Norway

ザイデルピルスナーはノルウェー最大の食料品グループNorges Gruppenの傘下にあるUNIL A/Sのブランドですが、おそらく醸造はアース醸造所と思われます。
ザイデル（Seidel）とはノルウェー語でビールジョッキを指し、このビールのラベルにもしっかり表示されています。すっきり飲みやすいビールでした。

Seidel Pilsner is a brand of UNIL A/S under the umbrella of Norges Gruppen which is the biggest food group company in Norway.
Seidel means Beer mug in Norwegian.

オスロの南方、人口5万人の小さな町サルプスボルグにあるボルグ醸造所は、創業以来、麦芽、ホップ、水と酵母だけで造られるボルグピルスナーを頑なに生産しています。

The great flavour from small brewery. All beers from Borg are brewed solely on malts, hops, water and yeast for centuries.

Hansa Pilsner from Norway

横文字で書くとNorway、まさに北への道を意味するノルウェーのビールです。このハンサ醸造所はフィヨルドで有名なベルゲンの地ビールです。その昔、ベルゲンはハンザ同盟に入っていた年でしたので、この名前が付けられました。アルコール度数の割にしっかりした味と記録しています。著名なビール評論家（ビアハンター）によりますと、ノルウェービールは貯蔵期間が長いのが特徴とのこと。普通ので2~3か月、長いものになると6か月とのこと（通常のラガービールは1か月程度）。だからかなぁ。

Hansa Bryggeri is located in Bergen. I noted good taste in spite of not so strong alcohol. It may be because Norwegian beer is longer ripening period than common lager beer (almost double longer).

Mousel Premium Pilsner from Luxembourg

今や、大手の傘下にあるモーゼル醸造所ですが、元はルクセンブルグ市内にあるアルゼット川堤防沿いにある小さな醸造所です。レストランを併設しており、できたてのモーゼルビールと地方料理を供しています。

the Mousel brewery is located in the capital Luxembourg City, along the banks of the river, Alzette. Mousel brews a small variety of beers. The brewery's restaurant, Mosel's Cantine, serves local cuisine as well as the Mousel beers.

Battin Gambrinus from Luxembourg

今やルクセンブルグ大手の傘下にある、このバッティン・ガンブリヌスは、元々、バッティン醸造所という小さな醸造所で造られたクラフトビールで、大酒のみの異名を持つブラバントの公爵にちなんでつけられた名前です。
ガンブリヌスと言えば、ビールの王様。ビール樽にどっとまたがり、右手にホップの枝、左手にビールの杯を持ったあごひげの老人で、中世ドイツやフランダースの人々は、限りない尊敬と感謝の念を抱いていました。
このビールのラベルにもしっかりガンブリヌスがプリントされています。
しかし、そんな大酒飲みにこんな小さなボトルで足りるんだろうか？

Battin Gambrinus is originally brewed by Brasserie Battin which was a small local brewery in Luxembourg. The beer was named in honour of the legendary toper, the Duke of Brabant.
Talking of Gambrinus, it is king of beer, an old guy who has beard and has branch of hops on right hand and beer cup on left hand.

Diekirch from Luxembourg

オランダ南部のマーストリヒトに私用で訪れた際、足を延ばして行ってみたのが、ルクセンブルグ。公用語はルクセンブルグ語とあるので、ドイツ語っぽいイメージでいましたが、ほとんどフランス語でした（というか聞き分けられないくらいそっくりでした）。
白ワインが有名（知る人ぞ知る）ですが、ビールもそれなりにありました。ある著名なビアハンターの異名をとるビール評論家は周りのビール大国と比較して取るに足らないと評価厳しいですが、なかなかいいもの造っていると思います。このディキルシュはルクセンブルグで最大シェアを持つブランドですが、しっかりした味のビールです。

Luxembourg is a country that I wanted to visit one day and it was a chance to go there when I went to Maastricht, The Netherlands for private purpose.
official language of Luxembourg is "Luxembourgian" which is almost similar to French.
If anything, white wine is famous in this country but there are some beer brands. According to the famous beer hunter, not so special in this country compare with neighbor countries that are famous on beer, however I think Luxembourgian beer are not so bad, rather full body taste.
The Diekirch is leading brewery in this country.

グルテンフリーのビールです。材料として大麦の代わりにそば、コーンシロップを使用しています。アルコール度数は5％ですが、ほとんど味が無いと記録しています。

It is gluten free beer. It is brewed with buckwheat, corn syrup instead of barley, and hops, yeast.
