Giraf from Denmark

日本人に対しては、これが本当の”キリンビール”という説明が単純明快でよろしいかと思います。
ともあれ、アルバーニ醸造所がそれまで地元、オーデンセの動物園で愛されていたキリンを広告に使用していましたが、1962年に死亡、これを機に特別なビールを醸造しました。それがこのジラフビールです。その販売利益は、動物園に新たなキリンを調達するために使われ、2頭のキリンが贈られたそうです。


Giraf stands for Giraffe in Danish. It was first brewed in 1962 when Kalle ,Odense Zoo's giraffe, was found dead, as the Albani Breweries had previously used this giraffe in its advertisement. It decided to create a special beer and the profit of which would be spent on purchasing a new giraffe for the zoo and finally two giraffes were funded for the zoo.

Faxe 1901 Classic from Denmark

Faxe have sold Faxe 1901 Classic as draught beer in 1999 but from 2000 year celebrate the brewery its 100 years birthday with a release of Faxe 1901 Classic in bottles.

Ægte Fynsk AZ Ale No.16 from Denmark

これは超レアなビールと思います。
オランダからデンマークに居を移す前、しばらくデンマークのオーデンセまで通っていました。ウィークデーは会社近所のB&B（Bed & Breakfast：民宿みたいなもの）に会社の同僚と住み、自炊生活をしていた時に、毎晩のように飲んでいた地ビールです。Ægteとはデンマーク語で”純粋な”を、Fynskはオーデンセのある”フュン島の”を意味します。AZはAからZまで、つまり原料から製品までを意味するそうです。”原料からフュン島の材料にこだわって純粋に作り上げた地ビール”となります。イングリッシュエールタイプのビールで、飲んだ際に藁の香りが鼻を抜けるような田舎っぽいビールです。


I'm convinced of the rare beer in Denmark. Ægte means "genuine", the AZ reference indicates the thoroughness of brewery that once grew its own grain and still makes its own malt.
I used to drink the beer with my colleague almost every nights at B&B  near company in Danefeld when I stayed there in week-days. (It was just before my transfer from The NL to Denmark in 2004.) It is actually good local beer with the scent of hey.

H.C. Andersen from Denmark

H.C. Andersen Eventyrは、アルバーニ醸造所がオーデンセ市1000周年記念用に特別なビールを醸造しようと決定、1988年に初めて醸造されたエールタイプのビールです。オーデンセと言えば、アンデルセンが有名ですが、その彼の名前を踏襲しています。その後、毎年限定醸造され、彼の誕生日である4月2日に販売。ボトルラベルも毎年デザインが変わり、アンデルセンによって制作された切り絵が使われています。また、ボトルにシリアスナンバーが振られており、コレクターまでいる有り様です。アルコールは高めの9％。
H.C.Andersen 1805は彼の生誕200年を記念して醸造された特別限定醸造です。


H.C. Andersen is a strong ale type beer, which was first brewed in 1988 when the Albani Breweries decided to create a special beer to cerebrate Odense's 1000th anniversary. The beer became so popular that Albani decided to keep it as a part of its product range. It was marketed under its current name, honouring Hans Christian Andersen. A small batch of H.C. Andersen is brewed every year and released on his birthday, April 2nd. Each year's labels depict different paper cutting by him. The bottles are also serial numbered. As a result, the beer has become a collectors' item.
H.C. Andersen 1805 is official beer of the H.C. Andersen 200th anniversary 2005.
